Eat the Reich

I played in an online one-shot yesterday! It was a session of Eat the Reich, where the party—a group of murderous, blood-thirsty vampires—fight Nazis and kill Hitler. It was great.

My character, Nicole, was turned into a vampire by her girlfriend (who I decided was called Gigi). She lost both Gigi and her resistance cell to the Nazis, and now she’s joined an organization called F.A.N.G. for revenge.

The mission started with us crashing into a mansion in Paris (after being dropped in metal coffins out of a plane). The first thing Nicole did after getting out of her coffin was say something like “I promised Gigi that I’d return to Paris with her. That is now a lie.” The second thing she did was jump up to the first floor, drain the blood of whoever was convenient, and throw a piano over the railing. She was so much fun to play.

The obstacles ramped up as we neared the Eiffel Tower, the mooring place of Hitler’s zeppelin. We ransacked a museum full of exhibits turned to life, then fought a terrifying witch riding a Ferris wheel around the city.¹ Then, through the power of needing to finish the one-shot, we made it up to the zeppelin, fought a final battle, and then … Hitler went down like a chump. Huzzah!
