Yet more London

Doh, the computers at this Internet cafe don’t like my SD card. No pictures yet.

Anyway, today I took a bus tour around London, and explored the Tower of London. The latter was pretty groovy, except that it shut down before I had a chance to visit the Bloody Tower. The former included a ride on a tour boat down the Thames from Big Ben to the Tower of London, which is how I got there — pretty good deal!

After all that I ended up heading over to Leicester Square proper this time — yesterday I got off the tube and wandered into Chinatown, missing the square itself which is a few blocks over. Similarly, I don’t think I saw most of Covent Garden, just the bit around Covent Garden Piazza.

There’s so much to see and do around here. I’m glad that I have three more days, but you could easily live here and not finish seeing everything. I’m used to taking pictures of just about every statue I come by, but in London they’re everywhere — even in the median of the road.

So, I’ll do what I can. I think tomorrow I’ll go to one of the big museums, tour Trafalgar Square in the daylight, check out the Canuckistani embassy, and hopefully other random awesome stuff.

Yarr!
