A friend took me to see the Vancouver Goldeneyes vs the Minnesota Frost. It was my first PWHL game ever, and my first professional hockey game in ages1. The Frost won, unfortunately, but it was a lot of fun. The vibes were amazing — the arena was packed, and the crowd was so excited and happy.

The lights have been darkened to purples and pinks. A crew of people are on the ice, sweeping up ice shavings. Between periods.

The crowd is standing and cheering. Vancouver scores!
