It was a session of Eat the Reich, where the party—a group\nof murderous, blood-thirsty vampires…","html":"<p>I played in an online one-shot yesterday! It was a session of <a href=\"https://rowanrookanddecard.com/product/eat-the-reich/\"><em>Eat the Reich</em></a>, where the party—a group\nof murderous, blood-thirsty vampires—fight Nazis and kill Hitler. It was great.</p>\n<p>My character, Nicole, was turned into a vampire by her girlfriend (who I decided was called Gigi). She lost both Gigi\nand her resistance cell to the Nazis, and now she’s joined an organization called F.A.N.G. for revenge.</p>\n<p>The mission started with us crashing into a mansion in Paris (after being dropped in metal coffins out of a plane). The\nfirst thing Nicole did after getting out of her coffin was say something like “I promised Gigi that I’d return to Paris\nwith her. That is now a lie.” The second thing she did was jump up to the first floor, drain the blood of whoever was\nconvenient, and throw a piano over the railing. She was so much fun to play.</p>\n<p>The obstacles ramped up as we neared the Eiffel Tower, the mooring place of Hitler’s zeppelin. We ransacked a museum\nfull of exhibits turned to life, then fought a terrifying witch riding a Ferris wheel around the city.<sup id=\"fnref-1\"><a href=\"#fn-1\" class=\"footnote-ref\">1</a></sup> Then, through\nthe power of needing to finish the one-shot, we made it up to the zeppelin, fought a final battle, and then … Hitler\nwent down like a chump. Huzzah!</p>\n<p>Thanks so much to Dot of <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/show/1ijwk9DT8ulqO8RVyrawhN\"><em>Resting Glitch Face</em></a> and <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/show/0ErNorfCnayIKb8sR6ajrp\"><em>Bite Size Tales</em></a> for running it!
